I just read your guest post. I have doctors in my family and even though they are in Poland it's still the same. People expected when they were first finished with school that they were automatically rich, that's why I never make comments or jokes unless I know the person or unless I know the situation. Regardless I applaud you for being the wife because I'm sure that schedule is NOT easy!
I think I would totally ask you medical questions so you could ask your husband - guilty lol! I think the residency match and the schedule would be the hardest things for me!! great post girl!
Seriously? You don't know about people's ailments? You can't prescribe relief for their random symptoms? What kind of med school wifey are you? Just kidding. That's hilarious that they expect you to know.
I have a older sister who is doctor ... seeing her studying so hard at first and working day and night to get a little bit of experience get me to change my decision of becoming a doctor ... people kind of think that doctors get rich after getting their studies but the case is that after their studies they have a long way to
