March 2017 PopSugar Must Have Box Review

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Today, I thought I would stop by to share the contents of my March PopSugar box. Honestly, this is one of my least favorite boxes I have received since I starting getting PopSugar. Still, the items I did like cost more than the value of the box, so I’m fine with it. I’m just hoping I’m a little more in love with the April box!

Note: This post contains referral links. If you decide to purchase a PopSugar box, I would love it if you used my link.

Stephanie Johnson Camera Crossbody Bag ($45): This is the first item I think is pretty “meh.” I’m picky about my bags, and I don’t really want a clear one where people can see what’s inside. I also just don’t like the red color. I’ll just give this away to a friend who will appreciate it.

Thrive Causemetics Brilliant Eye Brightener in Stella ($24):
I love this eye brightener. It’s definitely my favorite product in the box. It’s a great formula, and the color provides a beautiful, subtle shimmer.

Kate Spade New York Photo Album ($20):
This is an adorable photo album, but the likelihood of me using it is somewhere close to 0. Chris and I have been talking about how much we need to print off some photos for years, but have we done it? Nope.

SunnyLife Eco Lunch Box in Watermelon ($18):
I think this lunch box is adorable, but I just won’t use it. I think I’ll save it in case we ever have a little girl (or to pass on to a friend who has one!).

Smashmallows in Cinnamon Churro ($4):
I always give my food to Chris, so that he can have a treat too! He hasn’t tried these yet, but he is super excited about them.

Special Extra: $25 Velvet Eyewear Card:
I’m not going to include this in the value of the box since the cheapest sunglasses are $45, and most of them are almost $200.

I came up with a total of $111 for this box. It’s definitely not the most high-value box PopSugar has had, and the items weren’t my favorite, but the eye brightener and marshmallows made it worth it for me!

If you are interested in a PopSugar subscriptionPopSugar is currently offering $5 of your first box with the code “MUSTHAVE5.”

What do you think of the March PopSugar box? What is your favorite item?

  1. These always seem like such fun boxes to get, and even if you weren't crazy about the entire bag at least it still felt like a good value. The marshmallows sound delicious and the photo album is definitely cute, though not something many people use as often anymore.

  3. Bummer you were underwhelmed with the contents of this box but looks like you did get some cute things even though the likelihood of you actually using them is slim. Sounds like they could be perfect to give as gifts! lol

  4. This box definitely looks like they weren't trying much, sucks that you got a bunch of stuff you didn't care for, but at least you can find some use for most of them. The lunch box looks cute, but for an adult probably not very practical. Hope your next box is better!

  5. I feel like subscription boxes can definitely be hit or miss. I do one for my project life supplies. I usually like most of the things, but some months the themes are just not "me". I usually do my best to use the items anyhow though! :) XO - Alexandra

  6. That's a bummer that you didn't really like everything in your box, but I'm glad that the stuff that you did like is worth more than the value of the box! I'm with you on the actually getting pictures printed out. We've gotten to the point of making photo albums, which just seems easier than getting pictures printed and putting them into albums.

  9. I agree about this month's box. It was just kind of so-so. My teen daughter did like the plastic tote, but I'm not sure how much she'll use it. And I agree about the lunch box...very cute, but not very practical. let's hope next month is a little more exciting!

  10. I'm probably one of the few who would be excited for a clear plastic bag. Only because I have to carry one at the store and it's hard to find cute ones. If I didn't need one for work, I would never carry one. Don't like anyone seeing my junk.

  11. The picture album looks cute, but yes... printing off photos.... so much less likely to happen nowadays. ;)

  12. All cute stuff. I'm with you - I think my favorite would be the eye brightener. I printed off photos last year, but need to do it again so I can make a physical baby album. Hasn't happened yet!

  13. Love that eye brightener! But I'm the same way about bags and photo albums. I used to print off all my pictures, and organize them in albums and now I just can't seem to bring myself to anymore. I'm still working on a scrapbook I started 3 years ago for our first trip to Europe :-P

  14. These POPsugar boxes honestly look so fun. It's like getting a monthly care package or present in the mail :) If we had a little more cash to throw around I'd sign up!!

  15. Oh man, this one does look a bit disappointing. HOWEVER, those churro snacks look AMAZING! Have Chris report back! And as a side note, I have that photo album! I, too, have been meaning to fill it for two years at this point. ;)

  16. Bummer that there were so many misses with this box, but I'm glad the eye brightener is such a win!

  17. a clear bag? ew. i am intrigued by the eye brightener. that photo album is cute, but i really like mine to be all the same or bigger than that... i used to use small cute ones but they aren't practical. also, i do photo books, not real photos. and okay, i do them in theory, since i haven't done any since our wedding. oops. hope your next box is better!
