Friday Favorites: All the Christmas Things + Baylor Bound

It’s been a while since I’ve done an actual Friday favorites post, but today I have a million (or you know, five) little things to share with y’all, so I thought I’d do one today!

One.
For all the people in our blogger Christmas exchange, today is the last day to ship your package! I can’t wait to see what everyone gets!

Two.
Chris and I finished watching the Gilmore Girls mini-series on Wednesday, and I have so many things I want to say, but I won’t since I know many of you haven’t watch it yet. I will say the last episode was my favorite except those “last four words” (which are really two in my opinion). I get why they did it, but I don’t like it.

Three.
We are headed out of town again this weekend to watch a Baylor basketball game! Baylor has been playing really well so far this year, so we are excited to watch them live. Plus, we haven’t been on Baylor campus since College Game Day in December 2014, so we are excited to go back!

Four.
Does anyone else love Cyber Monday shopping? I knocked out my entire Christmas list this year, which feels great! I absolutely love giving gifts (if you’ve read the five love languages, it’s definitely one of my love languages), so it’s one of my favorite days of the year!

Five.
Chris has to take vacation at the beginning of the year, so we have been discussing where to go. It’s weird to have some say in when we go this year, but he still can’t take any vacation from the middle of March to July. We are currently considering the first week of March. Anyone feel like throwing out any ideas for us?

Linking up with AmandaKarli, and the High Five for Friday girls.

Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!

  1. There's nothing better than heading back to your alma mater for a weekend! I'm actually heading to Waco this weekend too! My friend and I are headed to Magnolia Market and I'm really excited! I'm so excited for the Gilmore Girls revival but I still haven't had the chance to watch it yet. I'm hoping that I can sit down and watch them all next week! I hope you have the best weekend!

  3. Happy Friday! Your trip sounds like it will be so much fun. Enjoy the game! I loved getting so many great deals on Cyber Monday but a little disappointed that only one of my purchases has been shipped yet. I guess maybe they're backed up?! Beautifully Candid

  4. Online shopping helped completely knock my list down and I love it! I have yet to finish Gilmore Girls, but have heard the last episode is amazing! The game sounds like so much fun! Sucks that they dictate the when, but still sounds like a good time to take a vaca! We are actually headed to Vegas at the end of March so I'd say there, but depends on what kind of vacation you guys are looking for :)! Happy Friday!

  6. Whew- I'm glad you posted the reminder about the exchange. It's been on my to-do list but I kept thinking I had time! Just took care of that :)
So fun that you get to plan a vacation! I think in 2017 we're doing Disney with my family and then hopefully DC on our own. I'm pushing for 2018 to be the year I take K to Europe!

  10. Oh how fun! I am so excited about this exchange! I don't know if I mentioned (probably did...?) that the only other one I have done was a dud. LOL So this is fun! :) I am almost done with my shopping and I did most of it over the black friday/cyber monday online deal window. Woot, so jazzed! :) My GG discussion post goes up on monday, I made the spoilers white text so people have to highlight if they want to spoil it for themselves heeh! I would love to hear your thoughts then! :) Ooooh yay! Trip planning! Have you been to New Orleans?! I am forever wanting to go back (a third time!), also I love every place I have been to in Canada! We did Victoria (near Seattle) which was lovely, we cruised through the maritimes which was so great, and then did our honeymoon in snowy (provincial France-like) Quebec City, and Niagara falls, which was touristy but still cool. :) We love the Midwest as well. If you head to Kansas City let me know! I would love to meet up/would have tons of recommendations! Minneapolis, St. Louis, Omaha, Tulsa, etc. are all really fun and affordable. :) I also really want to go to Miami, Charleston, and Portland (ME & OR). :) ... and anywhere out of North America! hehe XO - Alexandra

  12. haha yeah i thought the words were really two words too. i get why they did it, and overall i liked the mini series but i thought the whole thing could have been done better... but i'm not mad about it, if that makes sense.
'gifts' is one of my love languages, but as in i like to receive them. hahaha. not just because of material things, i just love knowing people think about me, you know? that sounds super vain so i'm gonna stop right there. cyber monday is my favourite!

  13. I had a conversation last week about the 5 languages of love and how much I love giving gifts. I love picking them out. I love wrapping them. I love giving them. I still have a few odds and ends to pick up.
